      In this week’s episode of the Garlic Marketing Show, we have Marty Maddin, Leadership & Performance Coach for PEAK Performance International share his story. Today’s episode Ian speaks with Mitch Russo who worked directly with Tony Robinson and is the current CEO of MyPowerTribe.com. He shares his wonderful story of how he was able to rise and form this company and how he also is a coach to other business owners that provides resources and tips on how they can expand and grow their businesses. He explains his story of how he formed a rock band back in high school and soon as he was obtaining gigs that he was asking the mom’s that were hiring them if they can write how great they were as the form of testimonials.  He goes in depth of how lessons and a set of guidelines are the foundation for building a business.

In this week’s episode of the Garlic Marketing Show, Ian speaks with David Riklan, the owner and founder of Self-Growth.com. David describes the secrets of marketing, coaching business, consulting and why he started this business. David states that:

 

“Self- Growth originally was a directory of the best websites to do with goal setting, stress management, and public speaking, and it became a resource. I was looking in creating a central resource that people can come and find the best self-improvement, self-help stuff there is on the internet.”

 

He expresses that it’s not just website, but the content is the king. Content makes the website come to life, it adds value and tells the story.

David describes how “you can see forever if you stand on the shoulders of giants” meaning that as the individuals you can do so much better if you find people that are already successful and leverage what they are doing. Relationships are also key. Building relationships within your network are vital to not only leveraging your marketing but also they can potentially help you.

He explains how he had experience running digital marketing strategy and execution for brands and eventually joined the client/technology side and joined aWeber to help. Scot Gray shares how he began his career as a  chiropractor to how he began transitioning to marketing field in the hopes of promoting other chiropractors and their businesses.
